necting to does not have an input ﬁle rack.

To program the Click 172/174 contact closure cards:

1 Plug the surge card into the input le rack. Make sure the Settings switch is in the 3

position when plugged in. Wait approximately 20 seconds.

2 Move the Settings switch to the 1 position and aer the auto-baud is complete, the cur-

rent mode will appear.

3 Toggle the Select button to select AC or Actuation mode.

4 Move the Settings switch to the 2 position and wait a few seconds.

5 Move the Settings switch to the 3 position.

6 Wait approximately 30 seconds and then conrm that the detections are registering on

the Channel LEDs.

In many cases, you can put multiple alerts on each channel to avoid the need for more than
